The Westfield/Brocton boys soccer team was the runner-up in last year’s Section VI Class C playoffs behind champion Allegany-Limestone. Westfield/Brocton’s finish was incorrect in a story on Page B3 of Wednesday’s Post-Journal.

A performance scheduled for Sunday by Doug Brummel, a national speaker and founder of Lighten Up Ministries, at St. John Roman Catholic Church, 270 Newton Ave., Jamestown, has been postponed due to illness. A new date will be announced once it is finalized.

FREWSBURG – An Oktoberfest dinner with authentic German food will be served Saturday at the Frewsburg American Legion Post 556. Happy Days will perform from 8-11 p.m. A regular menu also will be served. A brief in Friday’s edition of The Post-Journal was incomplete.
