Police Investigating Alleged Stabbing In City

A male suspect allegedly behind the stabbing of a male victim at 608 E. Second St. on Tuesday remains at large.

Captain Robert F. Samuelson, division commander of the Jamestown Police Department, said a possible suspect has already been identified and an investigation is moving forward.

The victim, he added, only suffered “superficial” injuries and is not being cooperative in the investigation.

The stabbing occurred at approximately 9 p.m. near the 600 block of the Appleyard Terrace apartment complex.

While it is still undetermined if the suspect or victim were tenants of the apartment complex, Pat Morris, executive director of CODE Inc.-which owns Appleyard Terrace-said violence is never tolerated on any of their properties.
