His team was incorrectly identified in a story on Page B3 in Friday’s Post-Journal.


The Chautauqua County Landfill in Ellery generates electrical power through methane gas and gathers over $1 million in combined revenue from the energy plant and landfill, further decreasing the county’s tax levy. The tax levy information was incorrect in Friday’s edition.


The Southwestern Chapter of Certified Football Officials has slated annual officiating classes that begin March 18 from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Jamestown American Legion on Fluvanna Avenue.

The classes are slated for Monday and Wednesday nights until completed. Entry fee is $50, including books.

The classes lead to certification to officiate varsity and junior varsity games in Chautauqua and Cattaraugus Counties.

Bank Of Cattaraugus

Trevor Marsicano presented his “anti-bullying” program at Cattaraugus-Little Valley Central School on Feb. 27. Afterward, a public meet and greet was hosted at the Bank of Cattaraugus. The name of the bank was incorrect in Sunday’s edition due to an editing error.
