STUDENTS REACH STANDARDS IN NYS
The percentages of state students meeting assessment standards on Pages F7 and F8 of The Sunday Post-Journal were switched for math and English language arts. In math, the percentage of state students meeting the standards should have been 42.2 percent; fourth grade, 42.6 percent; fifth grade, 40.0 percent; sixth grade, 38.1 percent; seventh grade, 32.9 percent; and eighth grade, 22.2 percent. In ELA, the percentages should have been: third grade, 31.8 percent; fourth grade, 33.2 percent; fifth grade, 29.7 percent; sixth grade, 28.9 percent; seventh grade, 29.5 percent; and eighth grade, 35.5 percent.
