MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County Health Department is alerting residents following confirmation of a positive measles case in Erie County. Local residents may have traveled to locations visited by the infected individual. County reviewing Agricultural District 10 boundaries

Per New York State Agriculture and Markets Law Section 303-a(1), the Chautauqua County Legislature is required to review an agricultural district eight years after its creation and every eight years thereafter. The eight-year review of Chautauqua County Agricultural District 10 will take place in the towns of Arkwright, Charlotte, Cherry Creek, Ellington, Gerry, and Villenova, and the village of Sinclairville, encompassing 84,281 acres.
