CAP cadets take orientation flight

1 min read

Three Civil Air Patrol cadets had their first orientation flight with Zach Allen recently.

Jonas Bird, Ophelia March and Hadassah Emmott had the opportunity to fly the Civil Air Patrol Cessna 182 Skyhawk while aloft.

The cadet orientation flight program shares with cadets the thrill of flying. Every CAP cadet under age 18 is eligible for five flights in a powered aircraft and an unlimited number of backseat flights when conditions allow. Orientation flights are always free to cadets.

Prior to their first flight, cadets must complete an aircraft ground handling safety course and actively participate as a cadet in the squadron.

Starting at /week.
