On Sunday, Nov. 8, from 1 to 6 p.m., a community benefit event for Riley Olmstead will be held at the War Vets Recreation Club, 3431 Fluvanna Ave..
The afternoon will include a spaghetti dinner, basket raffles, additional raffles, and more, with proceeds helping Olmstead and his family as he continues his recovery. Olmstead is a local veteran and community member who recently experienced a life altering accident. He is currently in the hospital as a result of his injuries.
Tickets for Sunday's dinner are $12 for adults, $6 for children, and free for those 2 years old and under.
