Southwestern Middle School officials recently named its Students of the Month for September. They are:
Constelleia Gould, sixth grade and the daughter of Carrie and Jesse Gould. Constelleia's favorite subjects in school are science, gym, and ELA. She plays basketball and is interested in playing flag football in the spring. She also belongs to the following clubs: crochet, quiz bowl, tabletop games, morning announcements, and esports. She hopes to join the ASL club, book club, and Spectrum club. Outside of school, she plays for Fusion A.A.U. basketball. When she's not at school, she likes to crochet, embroider, draw, read, play outside, build things, and create things for other people. One fun fact about Constelleia is that she has a pet leopard gecko named Pythagoris.
Maslen Brown, seventh grade and the daughter of Kristie and Andrew Brown. Her favorite subjects in school are art, ELA, social studies, gym, and science. Maslen plays on the modified soccer team and plans to play basketball and track later in the year. Outside of school, she plays for the Southern Tier Football Club (soccer) and Frewsburg soccer team. When she's not at school, she enjoys hanging out with friends and drawing. One fun fact about Maslen is that she is very talented when it comes to music.
Mason Brandi, eighth grade and the son of Harrison and Alicia Brandi. His favorite subjects in school are math and social studies. Mason plays on the modified football team and basketball team. He is a member of the middle school Junior Honor Society and plays trumpet in the school band. Outside of school, he goes to trainings for basketball and played on the Shooting Stars A.A.U. team last year. When Mason is not in school, he enjoys hanging out with friends and playing football and basketball. One fun fact about him is that he's good at playing the trumpet.
