Marvin House hosts Mecham Duo

The Mozart Club of Jamestown and the Elizabeth Warner Marvin Community House welcomed a full house recently for a special August Tea featuring Jamestown’s Aaron and Boaz Mecham, twin brothers known as the Mecham Duo.
The afternoon brought together members and guests of both organizations for a combination of music in the historic Marvin House.
The Mecham brothers performed while also sharing stories and experiences from their recent travels and studies overseas. Their journey abroad provided an opportunity to further immerse themselves in the musical traditions they have dedicated themselves to studying, and guests enjoyed hearing firsthand about their experiences, the places they visited, and the musical influences they encountered along the way.
Following the performance, guests gathered for refreshments including an assortment of finger sandwiches, cookies, coffee, and tea.
