County auxiliary names officers

The Chautauqua County American Legion Auxiliary met recently in Lakewood. The following officers for 2026-27 were elected. Seated, from left, are: Jane Rose, president; and Stacey Erick, first vice president. Not pictured is Lucinda Simpson, chaplain. The organization meets monthly on the second Thursday of the month at alternating American Legion Auxiliary units throughout Chautauqua County. The next meeting is Thursday, Oct. 8, at J. Carter Knapp Post 953 in Forestville, and will be hosting Eighth District Auxiliary officers, President Suzanne Wesley and Vice President Rosemary O’Connell, as guests.
