Midnight Recovery to perform Sunday in Cassadaga

CASSADAGA – The Citizens for a Better Cassadaga organization will host Midnight Recovery from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday on the floating stage as part of the Cassadaga Lakes Summer Concert Series.
Midnight Recovery is primarily a classic rock band that mixes in some new country hits. The band has been nominated several times as Best Classic Rock Band by the Buffalo Music Awards. Band members include vocalist Cortney Chyme of Tonawanda, bassist and vocalist Todd Langworthy of Fredonia, Kevin Parker of Angola playin drums and guitarist/vocalist Randy Barnard from Lockport.
From 4 to 5 p.m. on the newly renovated Beach Gazebo, will be Gary & Brian, two Forestville Central School classmates who have been playing classic rock and oldies for decades. Gary Eacker is coming from Virginia Beach for this gig and Brian McAvoy is from Arkwright.
Cassadaga Beach and Floating Stage are located on Park Avenue in Cassadaga. There are picnic tables, grills, playground and lifeguards will be on duty for swimming. Local artists and/or authors are invited to set up shop on the basketball court.
This event is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants program, a regrant program of the NYS Council on the Arts with support of the Office of the Governor and the NYS Legislature and administered by Arts Services Inc.
Beach parking is limited so those who are able are asked to park at the nearby church, library or fire hall. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to Cassadaga Fire Hall at 22 Mill St. or the Cassadaga American Legion at 228 Maple Ave.
