SOUTH DAYTON — Another Wednesday night of music will be in the South Dayton Gazebo from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday by Tuck-N-Pope Country Music. Bring lawn chairs as hot dogs and soda are available for sale by the Village Hall.

Check out the Depot’s Rail and Movie Museum. Music in the Gazebo Committee is sponsoring “The Story of the Bald Eagle” with Jace Wightman. This presentation is part of our Nation’s 250th year celebration. Wightman will talk about the Bald Eagle’s life and answer questions. Adjoining the presentation, on display, will be Linda Frederickson’s hand carved eagle, great for a selfie too.

Saturday mornings 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. next to the Depot, Farmers’ Market with baked goods, vegetables, honey, homemade aprons, pillows and cloth bags. To be a vendor at the Market, call Cindy Lauer, 716-986-0358.

Saturday, July 11, 10 a.m. to noon at the Backstreet Girls, 122 Oak St., there will be a Quilt Ornament Class by Nancy Johnson. Please call Karen Strickland, 716-988-5076 to sign up for the class. Also July 11 and 12, enjoy the South Dayton Volunteer Fire Department’s Tractor Pulls.
