Ellicott clerk named state clerks association treasurer

Amy Bellardo, Ellicott town clerk, has been officially sworn in as treasurer of the New York State Town Clerks Association.
Bellardo has served as a district director for the association for the past four years, representing Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Erie and Niagara counties. In that capacity, she has worked with town clerks across the region to support professional development, communication and best practices in municipal governance.
She has earned the Registered Municipal Clerk designation through New York State Town Clerks Association, as well as both the Certified Municipal Clerk and Master Municipal Clerk designations through the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.
As treasurer, Bellardo will play a role in overseeing the association’s financial operations and supporting its mission to enhance the professionalism and effectiveness of town clerks throughout New York state.
“I am honored to serve NYSTCA in this capacity and look forward to continuing to support my colleagues across the state,” Bellardo said.
