Starting Wednesday, July 1, Wednesdays on the James Prendergast Library’s front lawn feature outdoor story time and playtime, visits from the Jamestown Mobile Market, crafts and more.

All library programs are free with no registration needed for any Community Day programming. Activities include:

– Outdoor Story Time at 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays featuring stories, songs and movement. The library also offers an ongoing pre-walkers’ story time on Tuesday at 9:30.a.m, and indoor story time at 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays.

– Outdoor Play starts at 11 a.m. after outdoor story time and continues throughout the afternoon with hands-on activities and active play for all ages. Explore sand and water tables, fort building, tunnels and more.

– The Jamestown Mobile Market visits the library from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays.

– YMCA Lunches are available from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. every weekday for youth ages 18 and under.

– Dino Pals crafts are available at 12:30 p.m. Wednesdays on the library patio.
