Randolph School Board To Hold Special Meeting Tuesday

RANDOLPH – The Randolph Central School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, June 30, at 7:30 a.m. in the District Office to adopt the contingency budget. The public is welcome to attend.

Prendergast Library Board To Meet Today

The James Prendergast Library board will meet at 5:45 p.m. Monday, June 22, at the library. The public is welcome to attend.

BPU announces July 4 holiday schedule

The Jamestown Board of Public Utilities (BPU) will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of the Fourth of July Holiday. In addition, the Yard Waste Site will be closed on Saturday, July 4, for the holiday. Garbage and recycling collection, however, will be on the normal schedule from June 29-July 3. Although Customer Service is closed on July 3, customers are encouraged to use the BPU’s convenient online and phone payment options. Payments may be made online by credit or debit card at www.jamestownnybpu.gov or by phone at 716-661-1660, option 3, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. A payment drop box is also available next to the Customer Service Office for check and money order payments only. Two other drop boxes are located at Tracy Plaza at City Hall and in the Jamestown Police Department vestibule on East Second Street. The BPU also encourages customers to sign up for the online customer portal, which allows users to monitor utility consumption, view bills, make payments, complete forms and manage account information. Customers only need their BPU account number to register. There are no additional fees when paying online or by phone. For reports of trouble for all BPU Divisions during non-business hours, customers may call 716-661-1640. During regular business hours, such calls may be made to BPU Customer Service at 716-661-1660.

Hazeltine Library Board To Meet June 23

BUSTI – Trustees of the Hazeltine Public Library will meet on Tuesday, June 23, at the library. The meeting begins at 5 p.m. and is open to the public. The library is handicapped accessible with off-street parking. Contact the library at 716-487-1281 with questions or concerns.

County IDA To Meet June 23

The Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency board will meet at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, in the BWB Building, second floor board room, 201 W. Third St., Jamestown. The public is welcome to attend. The meeting will also be streamed live on YouTube.
