United Way Hires New Finance, Administration Director

The United Way of Chautauqua County has named Michael Krepps as the agency’s new director of finance and administration.

With a background in administration, fundraising, and data management, Krepps will oversee the organization’s financial operations and administrative functions, working with staff and the board

“Michael brings a rare combination of financial expertise, data fluency, and nonprofit leadership experience,” said Amy Rohler, United Way of Chautauqua County executive director. “His ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, paired with his hands-on experience managing organizational finances, makes him an incredible asset to our team and the communities we serve.”

Most recently, Krepps served with the University of Arizona Foundation, where he specialized in advancement services and prospect management.

“I have long respected the role United Way plays in bringing people and resources together to strengthen communities,” said Krepps. “I’m excited to join the team and contribute to an organization that is so deeply committed to improving lives across Chautauqua County.”

Prior to his time in higher education, Krepps served at BorderLinks, a nonprofit organization based in Tucson, Ariz.. His career also includes leadership roles in with other nonprofits, where he helped secure significant grant funding and expand community engagement efforts, as well as earlier work in volunteer management, international service, and nonprofit administration.

Krepps holds a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Administration. Krepps is originally from Tucson, Arizona and started his professional career in Chicago – where he met his now wife, a Chautauqua County native. Together, they now make their home in Bemus Point with their 1 year-old daughter.
