Pets of the week- Cody
Meet Cody, this week’s Chautauqua County Humane Society Pet of the Week. Cody is an adventurous dog who comes alive in the great outdoors. Cody loves exploring the world around him and would thrive with an active, adult-only adopter. He’s happiest when he has a job to do or a trail to follow, making him a wonderful companion for someone with an on-the-go lifestyle. Cody will need a cat-free home, as he has a strong chase instinct. He is also unsure about other dogs; while he may be able to find the right canine companion with slow, thoughtful introductions, he would likely do best as the only dog or with an experienced owner willing to manage and build positive relationships. Cody does have some resource guarding behaviors, particularly around items he finds valuable. Meet Cody at the Chautauqua County Humane Society. All animals adopted from CCHS have been spayed or neutered, are up to date for vaccinations, and have a microchip. CCHS is located at 2825 Strunk Road in Jamestown, open 1 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. See all available animals at Chqhumane.org.
