Clymer Announces Students Of Quarter

CLYMER – Clymer Central School officials recently announced the school’s “Pirate Pride” Students for the Third Quarter.

During each marking period, faculty and staff members nominate students in kindergarten through third grades, fourth through sixth grades, seventh through ninth grades, and 10th through 12th grades. Students who are selected have demonstrated leadership, academic improvement, excellence, and service to their school or community. The faculty and staff at Clymer have voted on the following students as recipients of the Student of the Quarter award.

The Student of the Quarter for kindergarten through third grades is kindergartner Oakley Wells. Oakley is the daughter of Leah Nowosieski and Alex Wells. Some of her favorite subjects in school are art class and music. After school, Oakley likes to play. Her hobbies include playing with her cousin and arts and crafts. She is really good at making arts and crafts. Oakley shows kindness at home by being nice. Oakley’s heroes are her mom and dad because they give the best hugs and kisses! When Oakley grows up, she wants to be an artist and a music teacher.

The Student of the Quarter for fourth through sixth grades is fourth-grader Skylar Whitney. Skylar is the daughter of John and Abby Whitney. Skylar’s favorite things to do in school are math, art, gym, reading group and skills. After school, Skylar enjoys being the manager of the varsity track team. Her hobbies include art, running, riding her bike and going to her family farm. In addition to her hobbies, Skylar is really good at running and art. She shows kindness at home by helping out her parents, taking care of the dogs, and showing respect. Skylar’s hero is her mom because “she takes care of me all the time”. When Skylar grows up, she wants to be an art teacher.

The Student of the Quarter for seventh through ninth grades is ninth-grader Aaron Lambdin. Aaron is the son of Richard and Kimberly Lambdin. Aaron’s school activities include various art activities and e-sports. He has received a “mile-run” medal and has received the “Ultimate Gamer” award. His hobbies include reading, playing video games, making music and using his computer skills. When Aaron graduates, he plans on going to college to earn a degree for coding.

OAKLEY WELLS

The Student of the Quarter for 10th through 12th grades is sophomore Daniel Redlecki. Daniel is the son of Jeremy and Stephanie Redlecki. Daniel’s school activities include a FFA, football, basketball, baseball and is the president of the Class of 2028. He also participates in his local church and does community service. Daniel has made the high honor roll and received the Coaches Award for the 2026 Varsity football team. Outside of school, Daniel likes to watch and participate in sports, fishing and hunting. When Daniel graduates, he plans on attending college for an undecided major at this time.
