Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association Donates $3,500 To CLA

Heather Nolan-Caskey, Chautauqua Lake Association general manager, accepts a donation from the Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association.

LAKEWOOD – The Chautauqua Lake Association has received a $3,500 donation from the Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association.

The contribution will support the CLA’s 2026 lake operations, including harvesting, debris removal, near-shore work and seasonal programs. The Fishing Association, based in Celoron, has been a consistent supporter of the CLA for over 20 years, contributing more than $75,000 to lake maintenance efforts.

“We are grateful for the Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association’s continued generosity,” said Heather Nolan-Caskey, general manager of the CLA. “This kind of community support goes a long way. It helps us do the work that needs to be done, and keeps the lake in the best shape possible for everyone who enjoys using it.”

The CLA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization operating since 1953, providing hands-on lake management services, scientific monitoring, and public education programs for the benefit of all Chautauqua Lake users.
