STOCKTON – The Chautauqua County Antique Equipment Association will host a Spring Two-Day Tractor Pull on May 30-31 at the club’s grounds in Stockton.

Money raised will help to rebuild the association’s museum.

The Antique Equipment Club also features a black smith shop, print shop, machine shop, gas station and a household museum. The museum houses an extensive collection of antique household history, featuring dedicated areas for domestic life, which includes vintage kitchen, laundry, bedroom, as well as clothing and quilt exhibits; community history with a recreated general store/shop and a traditional schoolhouse area; and space for the association to host more than half of its member meetings during the year.

The current structure must be completely rebuilt to ensure the association’s historical objects and the club’s community space are preserved for the future. All proceeds from the pulling event will go directly toward this Museum Fund Building Project.

A daily weigh-in takes place at 9 a.m. each day. Lawn and garden tractors will take part in a deadweight pull at 10 a.m. May 30, with a $5 book fee, while the antique farm tractors will pull at noon May 30 and May 31 with a $10 book fee.

There is free parking and admission. Food will be available with full concessions on site. Every hook fee contributes to the bricks, mortar, and timber of the new museum.
