Southwestern Middle School officials recently named the school’s Students of the Month for March. They are:

Mya Roach, sixth grade and the daughter of Stephen and Candra Roach. Her favorite subjects in school are science and ELA. Mya belongs to the middle school student council. She plays soccer for FAYS and plays basketball for Upwards. When she is not at school, Mya likes to do art projects and color. One fun fact about her is that her favorite color is pink.

Richard Calabrese, seventh grade and the son of Amber Schrader and Jason Calabrese. Richard’s favorite subjects in school are technology and social studies. When he is not at school, he enjoys hanging out with his family. One fun fact about Richard is that he has two cats.

Cynthia Zheng, eighth grade and the daughter of Jing and Chaoxing Zheng. Her favorite subjects in school are art, band, and living environment. Cynthia plays flute in the middle school band. Outside of school, she takes piano lessons at Infinity of Jamestown and takes art lessons online. Cynthia enjoys walking her dog, calling her cousins, and playing with her brother. One fun fact about her is that she likes to draw.
