JHS Names February Students Of Month
Jamestown High School officials recently released the school’s Students of the Month for February. They are:
– Jaxon Fred, ninth grade and the son of Tom and Liz Fred. Jaxon is the Club America president at JHS and is a member of the junior varsity football team. In his free time he likes to ski and snowmobile. Jaxon has also received multiple positive remarks from his teachers and administrators on how much they enjoy having him in class. Jaxon takes pride in making honor roll every semester.
– Drew Bloomquist, 10th grade and the son of Jamie and Jill Bloomquist. Drew is a varsity wrestler and a varsity football player as well. In his spare time, Drew plays golf with friends and rides his jet ski on the lake. After high school, Drew plans to attend college and play college football.
– London Hamilton, 11th grade and the daughter of Melissa Paduano and Christopher Hamilton. London is a member of the JHS indoor track team, as well as the outdoor track team in the spring. She was also a captain on the girls cross country team this season and is currently participating in this year’s musical “The Pirates of Penzance.” London remains undecided on a specific major, but as far as her plans after high school, she is looking at colleges and considering running at the collegiate level.
– Ethan Braun, 12th grade and the son of Eric Braun and Connie Lombardozzi. Ethan is a member of the boy’s varsity basketball team, as well as a member of the National Honor Society. He is also a helper on the unified basketball team, and volunteers as a baseball coach for the City Rec baseball league. After graduation, he plans to go to college for aerospace engineering.
