Dog-licensing event set for Saturday
Another dog-licensing event will be taking place on Saturday at Tractor Supply from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A vet also will be there so owners can get their pet vaccinated and licensed all in one stop. This is the last licensing clinic that will be hosted on a Saturday.
Warren County Treasurer Lisa Marie Barr is reminding the public that dogs over eight weeks old in Pennsylvania must be licensed.License fees are $10.80 per year and $8.80 for seniors or disabled individuals.
Fines for unlicensed dogs can range from $100 to $500.
In order to purchase a lifetime license, the dog must be microchipped, have proof of microchip from the vet or shelter and the cost is $52.80 for regular and $36.80 seniors or disabled individuals.
Residents can still come to the office or mail their applications to us for licensing.
