The Chautauqua Youth Symphony provides talented young musicians with a professional orchestral experience. The Youth Symphony was established in 1986 under the name of Jamestown Orchestra of Youth. Now known as the Chautauqua Youth Symphony, the organization integrates all students from Chautauqua County and surrounding counties. Celebrating their 40th season, the Youth Symphony, Prelude Strings and Jamestown Suzuki Strings will present a free concert at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at Washington Middle School.
