The Village of Westfield has announced its second annual signature weekend event,

designed to be a fun, family friendly outing with a little something for everyone. The “BUNNY HOP” weekend will take place on Friday and Saturday throughout the village and beyond.

Beginning on Friday, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., the Patterson Library will sponsor an Easter Egg Hunt, movies, treats, face painting and a chance to visit with live bunnies and chicks.

Saturday’s activities begin at 10 a.m. with the First Baptist Church’s Annual Easter

Egg Hunt in Moore Park. The Biblical story of Easter will also be featured. From 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., more Easter fun activities continue at the Patterson Library with treats, live chicks, a make and take craft and an Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt.

On Saturday, the Lake Shore Center for the Arts will be part of the HOP from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., offering cartoons and treats. They will hold an Easter Bonnet Contest at the theater. Judging begins at 1 p.m. Wear “your Easter Bonnet with all the frills upon it” and maybe win a prize!

Saturday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., do the “BUNNY HOP” throughout the village of Westfield and beyond. Patrons may visit participating shops displaying the “BUNNY HOP STOP” sign on their door and get an Easter treat. BUNNY HOP participants include Peaceful Designs, Main St. Salon, Suzanne’s, Patterson LIbrary, Lena’s Pizza, Dave Warren Power Sports, Westfield, Lake Shore Center for the Arts, Blue June Blooms, Triple Crown, Living Glass, Full Strength Coffee Co., Westfield Makerspace, Tim Horton’s, Grape Discovery Center and Franklin’s Kettle Corn. Some shops may display a GOLDEN EGG. Spot it and register to win a prize. Search for the EASTER BUNNY and munch on Franklin’s Kettle Corn on Main. Westfield’s shops offer a variety of unique merchandise, and its restaurants offer varied and delicious cuisine. Visit them as a part of the weekend experience!
