Noni, this week’s Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue Dog of the Week, is a brand new arrival at the shelter. She is a 2-year-old spayed female mixed breed weighing around 45 pounds who is fully-grown. With a luxuriously thick red coat and ears that can’t quite decide between being up or down, Noni is believed to have some German shepherd in her mix, as well as at least one or two other breeds, maybe more. She gets along great with everyone – adults, kids, dogs, even cats and bunnies. She is already house trained and knows basic commands, walks well on a leash, and is ready to make a fresh start on her new life.
