Karen Is CCHS Pet OF The Week
Karen, this week’s Chautauqua County Humane Society Pet of the Week, is learning that the world is much bigger, and kinder, than she ever knew before. After spending her early life in a puppy mill, everything is still a little new and overwhelming for her. Karen is a shy girl who prefers to take things slow, but beneath that nervous exterior is a very sweet little dog who truly wants to trust. She’s currently figuring out all the things most dogs learn as puppies: how to walk on a leash, that going outside is for potty time, and that people can be gentle and safe. Karen will need a patient, understanding home that’s familiar with puppy mill rescue dogs and the unique challenges they face. Meet Karen at the Chautauqua County Humane Society. All animals adopted from CCHS have been spayed or neutered, are up to date for vaccinations, and have a microchip. CCHS is located at 2825 Strunk Road in Jamestown, open from 1 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. See all available animals at Chqhumane.org.
