City Releases Viewpoint With Dennis Quaid Episode

The City of Jamestown has released its Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid Corporate Documentary & Commercial.

Nearly a year in the making, the project extends beyond a conventional documentary or commercial.

“Jamestown is a city worth celebrating, and I encourage our residents to champion and promote the place we proudly call home,” said Mayor Kim Ecklund. “Jamestown provides real opportunity–paired with affordability, accessibility, and a strong sense of community. These videos share our story in an authentic and compelling way, inviting people across the country to experience Jamestown for themselves–whether by visiting, investing, or putting down roots.”

Partners include the Gebbie Foundation, Collaborative Children’s Solutions and the Jamestown Board of Public Utilities, David Niles and his family for representing Jamestown on screen and the Robert H. Jackson Center for hosting the unveiling event.

The commercial is currently airing in the Top 100 regional media markets across the United States, with peak and prime-time placements to maximize national exposure, and will also air later this month during a prime-time slot on a nationally syndicated program. The full corporate documentary is broadcasting on Public Television affiliates nationwide and will continue throughout 2026, providing sustained visibility for Jamestown’s story. In addition, a targeted national email campaign was deployed earlier this week to one million recipients, directing audiences to Jamestown’s Opportunity Hub at www.jamestownny.gov/opportunity. Both the documentary and commercial are available for viewing on the City of Jamestown’s website and official YouTube channel.

Starting at $3.50/week.
