Court Appointed Special Advocates will host its 18th annual Come to the Table auction, on Thursday, May 14, at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel in Celoron.

Doors open at 5 p.m., with the live table auction beginning at 6:30 p.m. The evening will feature hors d’oeuvres, raffles, live entertainment and a cash bar. Tickets are $20 and include entry into a door prize drawing. The public is invited to attend.

Come to the Table offers guests a one-of-a-kind experience, showcasing 25 themed tablescapes creatively designed by local artisans, businesses, and CASA supporters. Table designers are encouraged to participate. Guests can bid on the tables during the live auction, with the highest bidder taking home everything on the table. Past themes have ranged from A Heroes Dinner featuring a private meal and tour at the Jamestown Fire Department to an immersive Joshua Tree National Park vacation escape.

“This year’s event is especially exciting as we welcome our supporters to a brand-new venue,” said Kathy Park, executive director of CASA of Chautauqua County. “The Chautauqua Harbor Hotel provides a beautiful setting for Come to the Table and allows us to elevate this beloved community event while continuing to shine a spotlight on our mission.”

Table designers will also compete for awards in five categories: most whimsical, most artistic, most original, most elegant, and people’s choice. Winners receive a certificate and bragging rights for the year. A table designer packet is available online at www.ChautauquaCASA.com. Table requirements are minimal, and themed tables may include gift certificates, experiences, antiques, and more. The table designer entry form is due Wednesday, March 25.

“This event would not be possible without the continued generosity of our supporters,” said Kelly Fiorella, fund development coordinator of CASA of Chautauqua County. “We are incredibly grateful to everyone who gives so faithfully to our mission, allowing us to continue advocating for the most underserved youth in our communities. Come to the Table truly reflects the compassion and commitment of our community.”

Tickets may be purchased online, from any CASA board or staff member, or at the door. To become a sponsor, table designer, or to donate to the basket raffle, contact Fiorella at kfiorellacasa@gmail.com.

All money raised from Come to the Table directly support CASA’s mission of recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers who advocate for abused and neglected children in Chautauqua County.
