Benji, Boris Are NCCR Dogs Of Week
Benji and Boris, this week’s Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue Dogs of the Week, are brothers who arrived recently at the shelter after being transferred from an overcrowded shelter that ran out of room for them. Despite the big changes in their lives, these 4-year-old Pomeranian mixes are now looking for a soft place to land where they can stay together. At a perfectly portable 12 pounds each, these neutered males are fully-grown and ready to become the center of someone’s attention. Because they are a bonded pair, they are searching for a special forever family that understands their connection and is committed to keeping them together. While they are real sweethearts, it’s important to know that Benji and Boris can be a little shy in unfamiliar situations. Read more about them and apply to adopt online at www.caninerescue.org. An approved application and scheduled appointment is required to meet them; they are in an off-site foster home. Visit the resident adoptable dogs Monday through Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m., no appointment needed, at 7540 N. Gale St., Westfield. For more information email adoptions@caninerescue.org.
