FREWSBURG – Craig Rodgers and Jared Strickland were the speakers for the January 12 meeting of the Frewsburg Lions Club.

Jared Strickland is the outreach coordinator for the Chautauqua Opportunities weatherization assistance program. Rodgers, a Lions Club member, is manager for the weatherization assistance program. The goal of the program is to make homes more energy efficient for lower income families. Funding and oversight are provided by the Department of Energy.

The club hosted its annual Christmas dinner at Anthony’s Dinner Club on Dec. 8 with Christmas Carols directed by Robert Sandberg. The Lions pie sale profit this year was $1,500. The annual Lions Drive-Through Chicken Barbecue will be held on April 18 catered by 3C’s Catering.
