Southwestern Middle School officials recently released the school’s December Students of the Month. They are:

Damien Burkholder, sixth grade and the son of Jake and Jill Burkholder. His favorite subjects in school are math, science, library and gym. Damien belongs to the middle school choir and plays house league baseball, travel baseball for the Gladiators, football, and youth wrestling. When he’s not at school, he enjoys talking to friends and playing sports and video games. One fun fact about Damien is that he shares a birthday with his best friend.

Liam Klice, seventh grade and the son of Ashley and Jay Klice. Liam’s favorite subject in school is technology. He plays on the Southwestern soccer team and plays soccer for other outside organizations. When he is not at school, he enjoys playing outside. One fun fact about Liam is that he loves soccer.

Serenity Licciardi, eighth grade and the daughter of Antoinette Meyer and John Licciardi. Her favorite subjects in school are math, living environment, band, and art. Serenity plays on the Southwestern volleyball and softball teams. She also belongs to the middle school student council. Outside of school, she dances at Dancing with Victoria, does photography at Infinity, and volunteers at the humane society. When she’s not at school, she enjoys coloring and painting. One fun fact about Serenity is that she loves music and art.
