New Hope Community Church, 80 Cityview Ave., Jamestown, has named Pastor Andy Evanock as its new pastor, along with his wife, Lisa.

They join the church community in ministry and fellowship, returning to their hometown after previously pastoring in Erie County for 10 years. They have been married for 34 years, have seven children and three grandchildren.

Evanock brings a heart for Biblical teaching, community engagement and to see revival in the area. He is passionate about helping people grow in their faith, strengthening families and guiding the church to be a welcoming and Christ-centered presence in the Jamestown community.

Mrs. Evanock said she looks forward to building relationships with the congregations and supporting the church’s mission through technology, encouragement and community support.

“We are grateful for God’s guidance throughout this season and are excited to welcome Pastor Andy and Lisa to New Hope,” the church board said in a news release. “We look forward to what God will do through their leadership.”

New Hope Community Church is a non-denominational Christian church. Sunday worship services are at 10:30 a.m.
