The Marvin House will host its Galentine’s Day Ladies Night from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13.
The cost is $30 a person. The evening will include light refreshments and drinks, a medium gallery featuring ladies from the Lily Dale Assembly and a Blind Date with a Book contest that allows those attending to select a wrapped book without knowing the title, author, or subject. For reservations, call 716-488-6206 or email marvinhouse@marvinhouse.com
The Marvin House is celebrating its 75th anniversary as a women’s organization in Chautauqua County. Upon her death in 1950, Elizabeth Marvin wished that her home be a gathering place for women’s organizations devoted to the moral and mental improvement of women. Today, the Marvin House remains a place where women support women, gather in friendship, and celebrate one another.
