Soup supper fundraiser set for Feb. 7

WESTFIELD — Warm up this winter while supporting a meaningful cause for Centaur Stride Therapeutic Riding Center Soup Supper Fundraiser, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Westfield United Methodist Church, 101 East Main St.

Guests are invited to enjoy a hearty, homemade meal for $15 donation, which includes a choice of soup, including one vegetarian choice, fresh roll, dessert, and beverage. Dinner options are available for eat-in or take-out, and those who choose to dine in will also be entered into door prize drawings (must be present to win).

At 6 p.m., attendees can look forward to a special presentation highlighting the mission and programs of Centaur Stride, along with recognition of the dedicated volunteers and staff who make the programs possible.

Tickets may be purchased online at linktr.ee/centaurstride or on our Facebook page Centaur Stride Therapeutic Riding, in person at Jack’s Barcelona Drive-In, or by calling the Centaur Stride barn at (716) 326-4318 for reservations. Tickets will also be available at the door, if not sold out in advance. In the event of cancellation due to travel bans, pre-sold ticket holders may pick up their meals at the church on Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

In addition to the dinner and door prizes, the evening will feature a basket raffle, offering an array of items perfect for a special Valentine. The raffle drawing will take place at 6:45 p.m., with tickets priced at $3 each, two for $5, or five for $10.

All food for the supper is homemade with care. Black Forest fudge cake by Connie Wojcinski, fresh rolls of Crawford’s Bakery fame, made by Sue Crawford Poster, a retired pastry chef. Sue also shares her family’s treasured recipes in her cookbook, Crawfords’ Bakery & More, available for purchase at the event for $20.
