Pet Of Week At NCCR

Skipper is a bright, happy girl who recently arrived at NCCR after being transferred from an overcrowded shelter, giving her a better chance to find the loving home she deserves. She’s an approximately 1-year-old, full-grown mixed breed, weighing around 30 pounds – a wonderful, manageable size for both adventures and cuddle time! Skipper has been friendly and social with the people she’s met so far, greeting everyone with an outgoing and cheerful personality. She also seems to do well with other friendly dogs. When the kennel gets lively, she may join in with a little commentary of her own; perhaps there’s a bit of hound or Beagle in her mix, or maybe she simply enjoys being part of the conversation! Skipper has a gentle, eager-to-please nature and a sweet demeanor that makes her a joy to be around. With her youthful energy, she’d love an active home where she can tag along on walks, outings, and everyday adventures. From her glossy black spots and charming pink-and-black nose to her constantly wagging tail, Skipper is undeniably adorable. She’s hoping to wrap up this year in a forever home of her own – maybe with you! Make your New Year’s resolution one that changes a life and gives Skipper the happy new beginning she’s been waiting for. You can meet Skipper and all the available dogs 1-3 p.m. Monday – Saturday at 7540 N. Gale Street in Westfield, no appointment needed. Can’t visit in person?
