Comedy Center Nominated As ‘Best Pop Culture Museum’ Award
The National Comedy Center, the United States’ museum and national archive dedicated to the art form of comedy, has been nominated for USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Award for “Best Pop Culture Museum.” The National Comedy Center is one of 20 museums in the United States nominated in this category by a panel of nationally recognized travel and lifestyle experts for the USA Today award series, which celebrates outstanding travel destinations, attractions and experiences, lodging, shopping sports and outdoors, and more.
The National Comedy Center is currently ranked No. 1 in the “Best Pop Culture Museum” contest, with 24 voting days remaining, and is the only museum based in the Buffalo-Niagara region nominated in this category.
The National Comedy Center is asking visitors, fans and supporters to cast their vote for the museum as part of the public voting process to select a winner. Everyone is invited to vote once per day, now through Monday, Feb. 9 at noon.

In 2020, the National Comedy Center was voted the No. 1 “Best New Museum” in the country by USA Today, and in 2019, the Comedy Center was voted the No. 2 “Best New Attraction,” ranking as the #1 museum and #1 ticketed attraction in the USA Today poll.
The winner of the “Best Pop Culture Museum” award will be announced by USA Today on Friday, Feb. 18.
