WESTFIELD – One of the prize winners in the Westfield Memorial Hospital Foundation’s “10 Days of Giving for WMH” Raffle is Julie Landholt of Westfield.

Landholt won a Weber Spirit II Grill during the foundation’s annual fundraising raffle held Nov. 17-26. Landholt, who recently moved back to Westfield from Los Angeles, Calif., is the daughter of former hospital administrator, Byron Landholt, who led the hospital during the 1970s when it operated out of the historic Spencer House.

“It feels wonderful to be part of the community again,” Landholt said. “Westfield Memorial Hospital has always held a special place in my family’s story, and I’m grateful to support the Foundation’s mission. Winning the grill was such a fun surprise.”

The hospital’s current administrator, Rodney J. Buchanan, shared the importance of community involvement in sustaining local healthcare.

“Community support is at the heart of everything we do. Fundraisers like ’10 Days of Giving’ help us continue providing exceptional care, and we’re thrilled to celebrate participants like Julie who make our work possible,” Buchanan said.

Patricia Gaughan DiPalma, Westfield Memorial Hospital Foundation executive director, also expressed gratitude for the strong community support.

“The ’10 Days of Giving for WMH” raffle is one of our favorite traditions because it brings our community together in such a positive way,” she said. “Every ticket purchased directly supports patient care and vital hospital services. We’re grateful for donors like Julie whose involvement helps strengthen the future of our community hospital.”

Area residents can still donate to the foundation’s annual campaign by sending checks payable to the WMH Foundation by Dec. 31 to the WMH Foundation, 189 E. Main St., Westfield, NY, 14787.
