Samurai Is CCHS Pet Of Week
Samurai
Samurai, this week’s Chautauqua County Humane Society Pet of the Week, was rescued from a cruelty case and spent her early life outdoors with little kindness or comfort from people. Because of that, she’s still learning what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a home. Samurai feels most at peace when she’s surrounded by nature – the rustle of leaves, the open sky, and the quiet calm of the outdoors are her happy places. She’s not your typical “couch companion” just yet, but with patience, understanding, and respect for her boundaries, she’s slowly discovering the softer side of life. Samurai will always carry a bit of her wild heart. She’ll need an experienced, compassionate home that can provide structure, continued rehabilitation, and the freedom to be herself. All animals adopted from CCHS have been spayed or neutered, are up to date for vaccinations, and have a microchip. CCHS is located at 2825 Strunk Road in Jamestown, open from 1 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. See all available animals at Chqhumane.org.
