Cattaraugus County Bank Launches Food Drive
LITTLE VALLEY – Cattaraugus County Bank is launching a food drive to restock the shelves of local food pantries and support families across the region during the holidays.
Through Dec. 1, all CCB branches will serve as drop-off locations for non-perishable food donations. For every food item collected, CCB will also donate $1 to a local food pantry site.
CCB encourages customers and community members to bring non-perishable items, including canned vegetables, fruits, soups, and beans; boxed pasta, rice, and instant potatoes; peanut butter, jelly, and cereal; canned meats, tuna, and stews; and shelf-stable milk and baby food
“At CCB, we are honored to support our local food pantries in their efforts to provide for families throughout the holiday season,” said Mike Wimer, CCB president and CEO. “Every donation, whether it’s a few cans of food or a dollar contributed, stays right here in our communities. It’s a simple way for all of us to show that community truly counts. Together, we can make an even greater impact and help ensure that no table goes empty this holiday season.”
All donations collected will be distributed to local food pantries within the same communities where they are received. Donations can be dropped off at any CCB branch during regular business hours through Dec. 1. For a listing of all CCB branches, visit www.countonccb.com/locations.
