Two charged following drug investigation in Westfield

WESTFIELD – Two people have been arrested following a two-month long investigation into narcotics activity.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, on Sept. 24 a search warrant was executed by members of the Sheriff’s SWAT team making entrance at 43 Wood St., Westfield.
Located in the residence were Donald Turley, 61 and Maureen Presto, 50. As a result of the search investigators allegedly seized 10.5 grams of methamphetamine and scales and packaging material for the sale and distribution of narcotics.
Turley and Presto were both charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.
They were both transported to the centralized Arraignment program at the Chautauqua County Jail.
Other agencies involved in the investigation included the Jamestown Police Department, Dunkirk Police Department and the Westfield Police Department.
