Lexi Is NCCR Dog Of Week
Lexi
Lexi, this week’s Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue Dog of the Week, is a recent arrival who turned up as a local stray and been turning heads ever since. Shelter officials think she’s part Great Dane, part retriever, and maybe a sprinkle of a few other mystery breeds. At about 4-5 months old, Lexi is right in the middle of the stage of puppyhood where chewing hard, playing hard and exploring everything is her full-time job. She’s curious, clever, affectionate, and growing fast (she’ll likely be quite the big girl in a few more months). Lexi is looking for a family ready to match her enthusiasm for life – one that’s got what time, energy and patience to raise a big, silly pup. Read more about her and all of the available dogs and apply to adopt online at www.caninerescue.org, or visit the shelter to meet the resident dogs in person Monday through Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m., no appointment needed. For more information email adoptions@caninerescue.org.
