JHS Announces 2025 Homecoming Court, Events

Homecoming festivities are underway and a Homecoming Court has been selected at Jamestown High School ahead of the Homecoming Parade and Varsity Football game on Friday, Oct. 3. at Strider Field.
JHS seniors Eligh DeLeon, Rya Giuffre, Gabriella Knight, Ryah Leeper, Tatiana Perez, Carter Rizzuto, Nathaniel Sanchez, and Asziah Watson were selected by their classmates for Homecoming Court.
Events scheduled this year include a Spirit Week at JHS, athletic events throughout the week, the annual parade, a dance, and a powderpuff flag football game.
Homecoming athletic contests this weekend also include a varsity girls soccer game against Cassadaga/Falconer/Maple Grove at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4. Varsity volleyball also took on Fredonia in their Homecoming match on Oct. 1 and girls swimming had a home meet on Oct. 2.
The JHS Homecoming Parade begins at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3 at Allen Park and ends at Strider Field. Following the parade, the JHS Football team will kickoff its Homecoming matchup against Bennett at 7 p.m.
In celebration of the NFL’s Rivalry week, the Buffalo Bills are teaming up with Jamestown High School for the Red & Green’s Homecoming game. The Bills Foundation will host a Huddle For Hunger food drive supporting FeedMore WNY and Jamestown’s St. Susan Center. Attendees are encouraged to donate a canned or non-perishable food item. Those who donate will receive a Buffalo Bills reusable tote bag. The evening will also feature special appearances by Billy Buffalo, Bills Alumni, and DJs Milk and Yes, as well as games, photo opportunities and giveaways courtesy of the Bills Foundation and Wegmans.
The Homecoming Court will be presented at halftime with the crowning of the King & Queen. There is no cost to attend the parade or Homecoming game. A powderpuff flag football game will take place on Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. at Strider Field.
The JHS Homecoming dance will take place on Saturday evening, Oct. 4, at the Jefferson Middle School Gymnasium. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased from Mr. Kyler in room 202 or Ms. Gibbons in room 140. The cost is $5. Students must purchase presale tickets. There will be no tickets sold at the door.
