Jamestown Man Sentenced For Drug Possession
Donavan Paquette, 29, of Jamestown was sentenced by Judge David W. Foley to a state prison sentence of 6 years after being convicted of third-degree criminal possession of controlled substance.
In November 2023, Paquette was arrested for a number of charges following a home visit in a joint operation with the Jamestown Police Department and the Chautauqua County Department of Probation as he was under the supervision of probation.
Paquette was later indicted by a Chautauqua County Grand Jury on second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class A-II felony and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
In January, Paquette pleaded guilty to third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
