The F2CS Blue and Gold Vanguard Marching Band recently debuted its 2025 competitive field show, “Through the Storm,” during an exhibition performance at Eisenhower High School in Russell.

The event also featured performances by the Eisenhower and Warren High School marching bands, offering an afternoon of music, precision, and community spirit.

The F2CS Blue and Gold Marching Band is a collaboration of more than 60 talented student musicians and visual performers from both the Falconer Central School and Frewsburg Central School districts. The ensemble competes as part of the New York State Field Band Conference, which includes more than 50 marching bands from across New York State and the Northeastern United States. The band kicks off their competition season on Sept. 13 in West Seneca and, the season will culminate with the New York State Field Band Conference Championships held at the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, where the band will represent Falconer and Frewsburg on one of the largest marching band stages in the Northeast.

Under the direction of Director Alicia Laska, along with Assistant Directors Shaun Laska and Timothy Przybelinski, Colorguard Director Kerry Mitchener, Musical and Technical Staff Chelsea Karim and Lauren Kirchener, and Colorguard Staff Brooke Soldano and Chelsea Soderberg, the Blue and Gold Marching Band is preparing for an exciting and competitive season ahead.

“We are incredibly proud of our students and the work they have put into this year’s production,” said Director Alicia Laska. We’re looking forward to a great season ahead.”
