Sept. 28 Is Audubon Birdseed Order Deadline

Birds like the male Cardinal pictured thrive in the winter when birdseed is made available to them. Orders for the Audubon Community Nature Center’s birdseed sale are due Sept. 28.

Sunday, Sept. 28, is the deadline for orders from Audubon Community Nature Center’s Fall Birdseed Sale.

Conewango Blend, unique to ACNC, was developed to attract favorite and common species of the region such as chickadees, cardinals, and titmice. There are also suet cakes for woodpeckers and a mix to attract finches.

Non-Nature Center members receive 10% off ACNC’s birdseed retail prices; Nature Center members receive an additional 10% off (20% total).

To place an order, call 716-569-2345 during business hours, stop by the Nature Center, or order online at AudubonCNC.org/shop.

When Birdseed can be picked up between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Oct. 18. Volunteers will load it into purchasers’ vehicles.

Audubon’s Conewango Blend is available year-round in the Blue Heron Gift Shop in the Nature Center and at Allegheny Outfitters, Warren; Ashville General Store, Ashville; Ekey Marketplace, Warren; Lighthouse Point Grocery, Mayville; Oneida Lumber, Ace Hardware, Warren; and Wegmans, Jamestown.
