A new, updated copier will continue to advance the work of Love INC

Love INC recently purchased a new copier utilizing the donations received through Give Big CHQ and the recently received general grant from the Karl Peterson Field of Interest Fund administered by the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation. This field of interest fund supports emerging needs for local religious organizations.

“Helping churches help people in need is what we are called to do,” said Susan L. Justham, executive director of Love In the Name of Christ of Southern Chautauqua County. “And a failing copier will impact your work.”

The mission at Love INC is to mobilize the local church to transform lives and communities in the name of Christ. “Our goal in applying for this grant was to replace the failing copier and improve our ability to copy needed client paperwork and print our newsletter,” Justham said. “We are excited about the impact this new copier will have on the work we do to serve area churches and our neighbors in need. We are so grateful to the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation Karl Peterson Field of Interest Fund and the Give Big CHQ donors for making this copier purchase possible.”

Love In the Name of Christ of Southern Chautauqua County is a local non-profit that has served as a bridge between local churches and those in need since 2008. The organization helps local churches and serves most of southern Chautauqua County through volunteers and donations from area churches, individuals and businesses.

As a non-emergency organization, it helps neighbors by gaining a deeper understanding of the needs, assisting the local church to help in a healthy, holistic manner. Love INC volunteers and area churches assist with household furnishings, toiletries, cleaning products, minor home and auto repairs, and referrals to local agencies. Love INC relies on financial and resource donations, the gifts of the local church body and area businesses to meet the needs of those served.
