The Jamestown Christian & Missionary Alliance Church recently donated the proceeds from the 33rd annual Eppehimer Open golf tournament to G.A. Family Services foster care in Jamestown.
The tournament took place earlier this summer at Maplehurst Country Club and raised a total of $1,500 for G.A. Family Services.
G.A. Family Services is a community-based organization that focuses on bettering the lives of children and their families in various capacities. The agency has experienced an increase of youth coming into homes and yet a decrease in available homes for them to go to. The donation from the golf tournament will go toward school supplies for the upcoming school year, as well as hygiene products for youth coming into care.
