Birdie

Birdie, this week’s Chautauqua County Humane Society Pet of the Week, is a 1-year-old black-and-white tuxedo cat. She will follow people around, chirp for attention and happily accept head scratches and pets. Birdie is super curious and loves exploring every corner of the room (and probably cabinets too). Birdie is not always a lap cat – sometimes she just wants to hang out near people rather than on them – but will always keep people company. All animals adopted from the Humane Society have been spayed or neutered, are up to date for vaccinations, and have a microchip. The society is located at 2825 Strunk Road, Jamestown, open from 1 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. See all available animals at Chqhumane.org.
