Jamestown High School Names Students Of Year

Jamestown High School officials recently named the school’s Students of the Year for the 2024-25 school year. They are:

JaLeiya Glover, a freshman and the daughter of Ameir Glover and Kelly Bergman. JaLeiya is part of the Key Club, Ski Club and Academic Quiz Bowl. She is also a member of the varsity flag football and soccer team. She likes to volunteer and hang out with her friends in her spare time.

Cameron Cooper, a sophomore and the son of Latasha Cooper and grandson of both Linda Cooper and Thomas Holland. Cameron participates in the A cappella choir. He is also a prominent member of the Yearbook Club, JHS Free Press, and Key Club. In his free time, Cameron enjoys studying, volunteering at the Humane Society, and writing comedy sketches. After graduation, he plans to study veterinary medicine.

Gabriella Knight, a junior and daughter of Kimberly and Travis Knight. Gabriella is involved in fall, winter and spring sports including cross country, indoor track and outdoor track, and is also involved in Symphonic Band and A Capella choir. In her spare time she enjoys competition dance and hanging out with friends and family. After graduation, she plans to study nursing and work in the healthcare industry.

Conner Dean, a graduating senior and is the son of Mark and Joanne Dean. Conner is Key Club president, a National Honor Society member, and graduated ranked third in his class. He was also named 2025 Male Athlete of the Year for his accomplishments as the captain of the Varsity Swim team. He has been a part of the team for six years, where he became a five time NISCA All-American, and a five time state champion. He also holds two state records, four Section 6 records and 7 JHS records. After graduation, he plans to study architecture, and swim, at New York University.
